THE ANGLING TRUST"The Angling Trust is the new, single organisation to represent all game, coarse and sea anglers and angling in England. The formation of Angling Trust brings with it a positive new future for angling. For the first time ever, there is a single body to take cohesive action to solve all the problems that affect our sport. Please take a look around Angling Trust website to read more about the work they do and in what ways becoming a member of Angling Trust can benefit you and your club."

Whitworth Valley Angling Society are pleased to announce that we are now members of the newly formed Angling Trust & Fish Legal. The six main angling bodies have now merged to create the new governing body for our sport. We will now be able to enter teams to fish in national competitions again, be represented by a powerful legal team (free of charge) should we suffer any pollution, loss of access, fish deaths and other legal issues and have also benefited by means of a significant reduction on our insurance premium for liability against our society, our members and protecting our assets.
